The monthly topic of the EU4Art Student Board for May is Reuse – Recycle. During the month we are talking about reusing and recycling materials and ideas and the aspects of sustainability and permanence in Art.

We are announcing an Open Call, where we are looking for artworks in any medium that has a connection to the topic. If recycling materials, reusing ideas or finding supplies in your surroundings gives you inspiration in your creative work, send us your artwork with name, title, date and a short description (if needed) until 6th of June to our email address: eu4art.insta@gmail.com. We will share the incoming works on our Instagram account, @eu4art.students.

We are also organizing an Open Meeting, on 8th of June, via Zoom, from 6pm (CET). We are especially inviting students who have sent artworks for the Open Call to show and talk about it, but also anyone who is interested is more than welcome. Let’s talk about recycling and sustainability in art, both in the aspect of materials, and in the aspect of how today’s social values and systems define the way we make or think about art!
