On January 19 and 20, 2022, the EU4ART Alliance hosted the online symposium “How to show. How to keep”.

Various lectures, organized by the four partner academies Budapest, Dresden, Riga and Rome, dealt with the thematic focus of documenting and archiving exhibitions within the artistic teaching at the art academies. How can exhibitions be made accessible across geographical and temporal boundaries? What impact can artistic works have on the nature of documentation?
