On June 28, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the Oktogon of the Dresden University of Fine Arts, one of the two originals of the artist book “Verschwinden” (Disappearance) was handed over to the Kupferstichkabinett of the Dresden State Art Collection (SKD) in the presence of the director of the Kupferstichkabinett, Dr. Stephanie Buck. The second original goes into the archive of the university. Analogous to the handover, the catalog of the artist book was also presented.

The artist book was created in 2021 as part of the EU4ART exhibition “Existence Chapter 2: Traces”. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic situation, the book could not be handed over to the Kupferstichkabinett for a long time – now finally there was a worthy conclusion. The book contains over 80 artistic positions of students and artists from the four EU4ART partner academies on the topic of disappearance.
