Since 2012, the Career Service of the HfBK Dresden has set itself the goal of providing students with early knowledge of the special challenges in the artistic professions and giving them skills and abilities with which they can later assert themselves in their professional fields. To this purpose, the Career Service offers a variety of practice-oriented programs to complement the artistic training. In seminars, lectures and discussions on interdisciplinary topics, questions relating to career entry, practice and self-employment are addressed. The focus is on the development and promotion of competencies specific to the profession as well as organizational, financial and social skills in order to work successfully in the arts.
