The Hungarian University of Fine Arts for the last few years participated in the Art Market Budapest, international art fair with the aim to represent students in the contemporary art industry. Thanks to the Eu4art project, several foreign students will participate in the exhibition this year.
The four higher education institutions participating in the project – the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden, the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in Rome, the Latvijas Mākslas Akadēmija in Riga and the Hungarian University of Fine Arts – will be represented at stand PR101 by the Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Arts and Intermedia departments.
Established in 2011, Art Market Budapest is an international contemporary art fair with a focus on fresh, inspiring art content and future talent. The EU4Art selection at the Art Market will include traditional art genres as well as fresh trends and new media. The exhibited works show how students have experienced and dealt with the global and individual challenges of the past period on an international level.
