Symposium HANDMADE TALES – Craft in Contemporary Art Studies

The HfBK Dresden organized the digital symposium HANDMADE TALES as part of EU4ART and in cooperation with the Dresden State Art Collections (24.11. – 04.12.2020)

The first week was dedicated to a digital lecture series. Thomas Geisler (Director of the Kunstgewerbemuseum of the Dresden State Art Collections) led through the program.

The second week was devoted to handicraft practices in the workshops of the Dresden University of Fine Arts and the “Grafische Werkstatt Dresden”.

In the second week the “Salzverlag” publishing house presented itself and its artist books.
